School-to-Career

School to Career (STC)

School to Career Students and Staff

The School to Career department at Kenwood encompasses three programs that aim to prepare students in a field of study related to their interests in and out of school.

Career Research and Development allows students to explore varied careers and gain on-the-job experience through paid or unpaid Work Based Learning.

Child Development prepares students for work in early-childhood education careers which culminates in an optional internship.

Our Food and Nutrition program challenges students to learn the science behind cooking and baking, while mastering the skills necessary for employment in the culinary industry. Food and Nutrition students participate in an internship in the culinary or food service industry in their senior year.
