A growing number of subscription databases have been purchased by Kenwood High School for use by students, parents, and staff.  They are free of charge and are available to you anytime and any place you have Internet access.  Click the links  below  to access a  database. Literature Resource CenterLiterature Resource Center (Infotrac/GaleNet) provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline; covers more than 120,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists, and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most-studied authors.  

Opposing ViewpointOpposing Viewpoints Resource Center  ((Infotrac/GaleNet) draws on the acclaimed social issues series published by Greenhaven Press, as well as core reference content from other Gale and Macmillan Reference USA sources to provide a complete one-stop source for information on social issues. Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles  

CQ ResearcherCQ Electronic Library: CQ Researcher Provides in-depth reports on "hot" topics in the news. Topics range from social and teen issues to environment, health, education and science and technology.  Every 12,000-word report is written by an experienced journalist and features comments from experts, lawmakers and citizens on all sides of every issue.
