Virtual Inclement Weather Days

After 2/13/2024, any BCPS inclement weather day will be a virtual day.  BCPS released an email on 2/5/24 with the plan for the days, the pertinent information is here: 

Instructional Expectations

• Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay schedule for students on inclement weather virtual instruction days. Schools must post their 2-hour delay schedule on their website and in Schoology as a reminder to students and families in advance of any inclement weather. 

For Kenwood, the schedule on a virtual day will be: 

SYNCHRONOUS instruction for the entire 55 minutes.

10:00-10:55 Period 1 
11:00-11:55 Period 2 
12:00-12:30 Lunch 
12:35-1:30 Period 3 
1:35-2:30 Period 4  
 
• Virtual Learning days must have a minimum of four hours of synchronous instruction. BCPS will use Google Meet for synchronous virtual learning.
